Website Accessibility on www.touchcompass.org.nz
Touch Compass strives to ensure that our services are accessible to people with disabilities. Touch Compass has invested to ensure that our website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence. Large imagery, high contrast text, alt text on all imagery, and closed captioning within video content, where possible, are just some of the features.
Touch Compass continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of our site and services in the belief that it is our collective obligation to ensure accessible and unhindered use for all people with and without a disability.
Our intent and efforts are to make all pages and content on www.touchcompass.org.nz fully accessible. We do however acknowledge some content (especially archival content and shared content from alternative sources) may not be adapted to our accessibility standards and we continue to explore ways and means by which we can make this possible.
