✨ The Curtain Rises Again! – Kia Mau Festival hosts AIGA! ✨
We are beyond excited to share that AIGA will take the stage once again from 5-7 June — this time as a part of Kia Mau Festival, in their 10 year anniversary! 🎭
This powerful performance weaves together movement, storytelling, and identity, bringing to life the experiences of home, belonging, and resilience. After its incredible journey so far, we are honoured to continue sharing this work with new audiences.
With only THREE performances set for Te Whānganui a Tara / Wellington, this is your chance to witness the next chapter of AIGA—to feel its heartbeat, its strength, and its message in a whole new space.

Image Description:
In this image, Lusi is at the centre, sitting in her powerchair. She wears a skirt made of brown kraft paper by renowned fabric artist, Ms Lindah Lepou. The skirt is ruffled like a series of flowing flowers. She looks dignified, with her arms crossed and her head raised, conveying strength and empowerment as she looks directly at the camera. Behind her, three red screens designed by mastermind Rowan Pierce, form a simple background, drawing our attention toward Lusi and highlighting her presence.
